Sonorasaurus Rex - waveforms back!
Last night I did a little housekeeping on the iPad and ditched a few apps which have been hanging around without an update and less-loved than others. During my cleanup (and following my last visit to Rex) I gave Rex a last chance and uninstalled, then reinstalled - I have read that during updates sometimes apps get corrupted (or at least the dev team behind Sonorasaurus Rex have mentioned this before).
Anyway, post re-install, the app appears to be running fine...waveforms calculated and displayed with everything behaving itself! However, the downside of this is that any pre-loaded tracks have been scrapped and I will need to load them again, building the waveforms again and setting the cue points again.
Following this loss of data I am now wondering what happens if I uninstall and reinstall an app with IAP (in-app purchases). The app store knows that I've purchased the app because I see the 'Install' button, however will it remember that I've made all the in-app purchases as well or could I face having to re-buy them? I'll try and find out and let you know!
I'd still like to see an update to Rex, if only to improve the audio quality.

Most apps that include IN App Purchasing have a button that says "Restore Purchases" in order to make sure you can get them back if the app is deleted and reinstall. I don't know if it's an Apple policy for them to have one, but almost all do.
